Simone Biles, who recently added four Olympic medals to her illustrious career in Paris, is now contemplating the next chapter of her life. In a candid conversation with Hoda Kotb on TODAY, Biles opened up about her future plans, including the possibility of starting a family with her husband, Jonathan Owens.
Biles, who has been married to Owens since April 2023, revealed that while they often discuss the prospect of having children, they have specific goals they wish to achieve before diving into parenthood.
Despite their future aspirations, Biles is clear about her desire to become a mother. "Yes, most definitely," she affirmed when asked if she sees herself as a mom one day.
In addition to contemplating her future family, Biles hinted at the possibility of extending her gymnastics career to the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. At 31, she would be one of the oldest athletes in her sport, but Biles remains open to the idea. "You never say never," she said. "The next Olympics is on home turf. So you just never know. I’m just going to relax and see where life takes me."
Biles and Owens have enjoyed a supportive and loving relationship.
