A 3,500-year-old Bronze Age jar has been accidentally shattered by a four-year-old boy during a recent visit to the Hecht Museum in Haifa, Israel. This incident has garnered attention due to the jar's historical significance and the museum’s unique approach to displaying artifacts.
The jar, which dates back to between 2200 and 1500 BC, was an exceptional find due to its remarkable state of preservation.
According to the museum, the jar was damaged when the young visitor, intrigued by the contents, pulled on it, causing it to fall. The boy’s father, Alex, described his initial shock upon seeing his son next to the broken jar and expressed disbelief that the damage was caused by his child. After calming the boy and discussing the situation with a security guard, Alex reported the incident to the museum.
