Nick Cannon, the multifaceted entertainer known for his numerous roles in television and music, recently shared that he remains open to rekindling his relationship with Mariah Carey. In an exclusive interview with E! News, Cannon revealed that he still harbors feelings for his ex-wife and would “absolutely” consider getting back together with her.

Lingering Affection

Despite the fact that Cannon and Carey have been divorced for eight years, the 43-year-old host of "The Masked Singer" continues to hold a special place for Carey in his heart. “We belong together,” Cannon joked during the interview. When asked if he would get back with Carey, he responded affirmatively, adding, “Yes, absolutely. Be stupid if I wouldn’t.”

Cannon and Carey, who finalized their divorce in 2016 after six years of marriage, share 13-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

Cannon's feelings about a potential reunion come amidst Carey’s recent split from her boyfriend, Brian Tanaka, which ended in December 2023. When questioned about the current obstacles to a reconciliation, Cannon humorously noted, “She don’t want me,” while his cohost Courtney Bee quipped about Cannon's large family.
