Nick Cannon has recently shared his feelings about a possible reconciliation with his ex-wife, Mariah Carey. During an interview with E! News on August 6, Cannon, 43, expressed hope that he and Carey, 55, might one day reunite. The former couple finalized their divorce eight years ago after a six-year marriage, during which they had twins Moroccan "Roc" and Monroe "Roe," who are now 13 years old.
In his candid remarks, Cannon stated, “We belong together,” and added that he would “absolutely” consider getting back together with Carey.
He humorously noted, “It would be stupid if [he] didn’t.” However, Cannon also acknowledged the reality of their situation, admitting, “She don’t want me.” He joked about the numerous children he has had since their separation, saying, “A whole baseball team,” and playfully suggesting that this might be a reason Carey might not consider rekindling their relationship.
Since their split, Cannon has expanded his family significantly. He is now a father of 12. In addition to Moroccan and Monroe, Cannon has sons Golden Sagon, 7, and Rise Messiah, 1, and daughter Powerful Queen, 3, with Brittany Bell. He also has another set of twins, Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, 3, with Abby De La Rosa, and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, 1. Cannon shares son Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi and daughter Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole.
