Droughtlander’s finally over, folks! Our favorite time-traveling lovers are back for the second half of Season 7, and if the cast’s latest teasers are any indication, we’re in for a rollercoaster ride that’ll leave us reaching for the nearest bottle of whisky (or maybe something a little stronger).
Homeward Bound (But Don't Expect a Warm Welcome)
After what feels like a century (or, you know, a year), Claire (Caitriona Balfe), Jamie (Sam Heughan), and Young Ian (John Bell) are finally returning to Scotland, and more specifically, to Jamie's beloved Lallybroch. But don’t expect a drama-free family reunion.
“It is bittersweet,” Heughan hints, with a mischievous glint in his eye that suggests maybe, just maybe, Jamie’s been practicing his poker face.
Turns out, big brother Jamie has some explaining to do, especially to his sister, Jenny (Kristin Atherton). Seems like Young Ian’s transformation from wee lad to Mohawk-sporting warrior isn’t sitting well with everyone.
“Jamie must answer to Jenny,” Heughan teases.
And knowing Jenny, those answers better be good, or she’ll have Jamie weeding the gardens for the rest of eternity.
