Bridgerton fans, brace yourselves: the wait for season 4 might be longer than you think!
While season 3, featuring the highly anticipated romance between Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington (aka "Polin"), has just landed on Netflix, it looks like we'll be waiting a good two years before we get our next dose of Regency-era romance and scandal.
Shonda Rhimes, the powerhouse producer behind the hit series, recently spilled the tea on the lengthy production process, hinting at a possible 2026 premiere for season 4.
"They [Netflix] want to write everything, and then they want to shoot everything," Rhimes explained in an interview with Variety. "It's very counterintuitive to the way I learned to make television."
This means that each season takes approximately two years to go from script to screen.
