Season 2 threw us a curveball with the charmingly roguish printer's assistant, Theo Sharpe.

They bonded over shared passions for literature and questioning the status quo, causing quite a stir amongst the ton. Even Claudia Jessie, the brilliant actress who brings Eloise to life, acknowledged the undeniable spark. "We see her [Eloise] branching out and exploring new schools of thought about female autonomy and being independent," Jessie shared in an interview, hinting at Theo's influence on our beloved heroine.

But alas, their passionate rendezvous was not meant to be. Thanks to Penelope's alter ego, Lady Whistledown (who else?), Theo and Eloise parted ways, leaving Eloise heartbroken and more cynical than ever. Season 3 picks up with Eloise attempting, albeit reluctantly, to navigate the marriage market, even striking up an unlikely friendship with the diamond of the season, Cressida Cowper. However, whispers around Grosvenor Square suggest that romance isn't in the cards for Eloise this season.
