And you better believe the internet (and by that, we mean us) is already planning the celebratory rewatch parties, complete with themed cocktails and enough Colin-inspired swooning to make Lady Whistledown blush.
The news broke, as most things in the Bridgerton universe do, with a healthy dose of playful teasing and social media frenzy. Nicola Coughlan, the queen of behind-the-scenes tidbits and our favorite Penelope Featherington, took to Instagram to confirm what we were all secretly hoping for:
"Luke Newton as Colin Bridgerton – Confirmed to Return!" she declared, because even queens of subtle subtext know a good mic drop when they see one.
And just like that, the internet collectively lost its collective mind.
