Bridgerton fans, buckle up! Season 3 delivered a long-awaited payoff with Colin and Penelope's first intimate encounter, aptly dubbed "the carriage scene," and the stars are giving us a peek behind the curtain.

Nicola Coughlan, who plays the ever-so-desirable Penelope Featherington, admitted that the pressure was on to deliver a scene worthy of years of fan anticipation.
"The fans are horny little devils," Coughlan joked in a Netflix behind-the-scenes interview, "and they used to send us pictures of carriages constantly and carriages rocking. So, this has to be both beautiful, touching, romantic and sexy, which is a lot of things."
Luke Newton, who brings Colin Bridgerton to life, echoed the sentiment. "That was a lot," he confessed, describing the filming experience as "big pressure."

The scene itself is a delicious blend of vulnerability and desire.
