Nicola Coughlan, the charming star of , humbly downplays her recent fashion fame. "That’s very nice, I don’t know about that!" she quipped when complimented on her growing status as one of fashion's most sought-after campaign stars. However, her journey into the fashion world wasn’t something she planned. It all started when none other than Kim Kardashian handpicked her as a model for Skims, the shapewear line Kardashian is famous for.

At 37, Coughlan, a native of Galway, soon found herself not only in the fashion spotlight but also gracing the set of Kate Spade's autumn/winter 2024 campaign in Brooklyn.

Surrounded by flowers and dressed in Spade's chic designs, Coughlan felt right at home in this new glamorous world. “It’s sort of a journey…” she said, reflecting on her transition from actress to model.

Yet, as much as she’s enjoying this new chapter, she admits that modelling was never on her radar. “It’s not something I ever thought I’d be doing,” she shared, adding that the more she embraces it, the more comfortable she feels in this newfound role.
